When you begin your project of building a dollhouse from a kit you want to take inventory of the pieces before you do anything else. If you find that something is missing or damaged, call the manufacturer right away for a replacement. It’s much less frustrating to do now than once you’re in the middle of construction.
One smart idea is to mark the part number lightly on each piece with a pencil as you are in the process of doing your inventory. This will come in handy for future reference and will also help you get familiar with the kit before you start to assemble it. Just remember to always mark the pieces of your dollhouse kit for identification with a pencil. If you use a marker or an ink pen there is a good chance that it will eventually show through any paint and/or wallpaper that you install.
Once you have read through the instruction manual, made sure all the parts are present and marked all pieces for identification you’re ready to begin your adventure.
