Wallpapering a miniature dollhouse can be a tricky business. Here’s an easy way to deal with one of the most common issues … wallpaper seams. Placing your seams in the corners of a room (as opposed to the center of a wall) will create a noticeably cleaner look.
Start with the back wall first. Cut the width of paper 1/2″ more than you need. Apply the paper, allowing 1/4″ to overlap onto each adjoining wall. For each side wall, cut the width of paper 1/4″ more than you need. Working from the back, apply the side wall paper so that that it fits nicely into the back corner. It will overlay the 1/4″ of paper from the back wall. About 1/4″ should extend past the open threshold of the house, which can be trimmed when dry.
